The nocturne
When the highland evening cools, the resort lights its volcanic-stone fire pits. Premium outdoor seating gathers around the flame on the lakeside grounds — a place for the slow end of the day, glass in hand, the lake darkening below and the Wollo sky opening above.
It is the most elemental of the resort's nocturnes: radiant warmth, open air at roughly 2,030 metres, and the quiet of the highland night. Spirits suit it best — something aged and warming, served neat or long over ice — alongside the property's after-dinner coffee.
