A short, serious list from the illuminated cellar. Aged spirits served neat, with water, or over a single carved ice block.

The nocturne

Chronicle

On the ground floor of the Scenic Restaurant — the glass pavilion cantilevered over a constructed waterfall — the bar turns around a central rock-and-water feature, framed by green onyx columns set in brass.

A burl-wood bar runs against an illuminated cellar wall, its bottles lit like reliquary. The palette is layered and warm: green onyx, burl wood, brass, terracotta and olive-green velvet, with framed Ethiopian art, vintage “Ethiopie” stamp pieces and woven basketry throughout. Woven chairs gather at onyx-stone tables; porcelain floors carry the room toward glass walls open to the lake and the Wollo hills.

This is the resort's spirits room — a place to sit with a single rare pour while the waterfall runs below and the circular skylight darkens overhead.
