The story
A place apart
The Lake Suite; the house's two-bay suite unfolds across 90 square metres of connected living. A king bedroom in the resort's coral-and-grey-oak palette opens to a separate living room anchored by a teal leather sofa, with a balcony lounge stretched along the lake.
A full kitchenette : cabinetry, sink, microwave, coffee machine and under-counter refrigerator supports everything from a quiet breakfast to an evening drawn out over the water. Two screens, original Ethiopian art and vertical tibeb weaving carry the cultural thread through both bays.
The bathroom steps up to dark grey marble, with a freestanding tub set for the view, a walk-in shower and twin vessel basins. Six suites in the house make this the resort's natural choice for a longer, more sociable stay above Lake Hayk.
