The resort's architectural signature is also its finest table. The Scenic Restaurant is a glass pavilion cantilevered over a constructed waterfall, crowned by a circular skylight and turning around a core of rock and falling water.
Dine among green onyx columns and burl wood as the lake darkens beyond the glass, or climb the spiral stair to the open roof terrace — curved banquettes, potted olive trees — and take the meal beneath the sky.
Ethiopian art, vintage 'Ethiopie' stamp pieces and woven panels layer the room in warmth. At sunset the water below catches the last light, and the whole pavilion seems to float.
